SUMMARY:FBA Presents - Cisco Agile Services Networking and the Emergence of AI
DESCRIPTION:AI is generating more data that needs to be processed\, transported\, and consumed across more locations\, devices\, and people on the network. Connecting all this data — and the services that consume it — requires service providers to rethink how they architect their network. Networks need to be agile and responsive and to operate autonomously in order to support the more demanding and dynamic nature of AI traffic. They also need to be able to implement predictive and proactive operations based on real-time data from across the network to assure network performance and network services supporting AI traffic. \nCisco® Agile Services Networking is an architecture designed to power AI connectivity and customer experiences. It enables service providers to monetize the delivery of assured services and networking. \nWith Agile Services Networking\, organizations can monetize services deployed closer to end-user demand from a network architecture optimized for intelligent service delivery; remove complexity with simplified networks that converge network layers and services; and assure experiences with resilient networks and services enabled by AI-powered automation\, observability\, and security. \nBenefits: \n\nDeliver improved experiences for residential\, business\, and mobile services with a network that can behave more autonomously\, making it simpler and more cost-effective to build\, operate\, and scale from locations closer to end users.\nMonetize differentiated connectivity services — such as assured SD-WAN\, network transport\, AI inferencing — by delivering resilient networking and services enabled by real-time observability and insights across owned and third-party networks.\nMeet performance requirements for transporting demanding AI training\, inferencing\, and generative AI applications (such as ones that require high bandwidth\, low latency\, security\, and resilience) with granular control of network resources.\n\nPresented by: \n \n \n \n Register Now

SUMMARY:FBA Presents - Bringing Operations Support Systems from the Back Office to Front of Mind: A Clear Pathway to Increased Profitability and Prospects for Outside Funding
DESCRIPTION:Broadband providers are naturally focused on constructing their networks as efficiently and quickly as possible. Operations can only begin when the network is built\, obviously. \nOnce launched\, however\, operators often find themselves relying on a patchwork of tools and systems to support operations and hoped for subscriber growth.  This incremental approach has often led to inefficiencies across critical handoff points in their processes. These inefficiencies—previously overshadowed by other priorities—eventually pose significant risks to financial performance and customer satisfaction as providers attempt to meet demand and scale operations.  Continuing with the “old tools” does not allow operators to achieve the financial growth that is desired and can\, if not improved\, result in tarnished reputations and churned customers\, reducing the prospect of obtaining outside funding for expansion. \nOperators often get stuck in the quagmire of: \n\nSwivel chair operations between multiple home-grown systems\nSupporting multiple sales channels including eCommerce\, direct sales\, retail\, agent-based sales and outbound telemarketing\nInability to determine serviceability\nInventory discrepancies\nFragmented order input and orchestration through provisioning and activation\nInefficient support and scheduling of field service technicians\n\nThese and other inefficiencies lead to one critical obstacle: Inability to scale. \nThis webinar will focus on the need for end-to-end integration of key operational workflows\, including sales\, serviceability assessments\, inventory management\, order management and orchestration\, billing\, and on-going customer care.  Constellation SaaS is a complete solution that provides a unified\, cloud-native approach that enables scalability by eliminating process bottlenecks\, thus enhancing operational efficiency and simplifying compliance requirements.  The platform enables operators to achieve sustainable growth while meeting financial targets and delivering superior customer experiences. \nConstellation SaaS brings the back office to operators’ front of mind\, transforming operations support from a cumbersome but necessary evil into an enabler of scalability\, customer satisfaction and attraction of outside investors and government funding. \n \n \n \n Register Now

DESCRIPTION:In a city of 1.5 million residents and a population density of over 11\,000 people per square mile\, you might assume that digital access is a given. But the reality is different. The early days of the COVID-19 pandemic laid bare a persistent digital divide\, as students and families struggled to adapt to a rapidly digital world. \nPHLConnectED—an initiative led by the City of Philadelphia and local partners—was launched to ensure that pre-K through 12th-grade families could access free or low-cost internet services. Central to the program’s success is the City’s Digital Navigator Network\, which provides one-on-one support to help residents overcome barriers to broadband adoption\, such as lack of digital literacy\, device access\, or clarity around service options. \nAdditionally\, the conversation will touch on the City’s new Verizon franchise agreement\, which will bring fiber connectivity to all Philadelphia recreation centers—critical hubs for community access—and why fiber infrastructure plays a vital role in building a resilient\, inclusive digital ecosystem. \nJoin Juliet Fink-Yates\, Broadband Infrastructure and Digital Inclusion Manager at the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology\, and Gary Bolton\, President and CEO of the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA)\, as they discuss the measurable impact of the City’s Digital Navigator Network\, PHLConnectED and  the role in advancing digital equity\, and what’s next in connecting communities to opportunity. \nWith Special Guest: \n \n \n \n Register Now

SUMMARY:FBA Presents - Fiber Design Services - First Step to Getting Everything Right
DESCRIPTION:Behind every successful fiber network build is a strong design foundation. Long before the first shovel hits the ground\, the planning and coordination that happen in the early stages are key to ensuring the project runs smoothly from start to finish. \nDesign services that cover Survey/Locates\, Design and Permitting are not just the earliest stages of building a network but also a keystone phase in overall network build that impacts downstream phases\, most notably and crucially\, the Construction phase. This directly impacts cost and timeline metrics of the overall project. For those relatively new to network building\, or those needing a refresher of the basics\, this is the time to invest in foundational understanding of this crucial phase\, avoid the common pitfalls and ensure a robust foundation for this milestone period of growth in our national telecom industry. \nIn this session\, TELECON will introduce the three main elements of Fiber Network Design Service\, their respective performance indicators and the growing role of automation that is transforming them for the better. A brief look into the dynamics of keeping these tasks in-house vs outsourcing to specialized services partners will be examined to conclude the session. \nPresented by: \n \n \n \n Register Now
