Nokia Helps Vivacom Bulgaria Deploy Next Generation Fiber Network
Nokia and Vivacom Bulgaria have signed a multi-year contract to build a GPON network and introduce XGS-PON sites in the country. The XGS-PON locations will deliver 10Gbps symmetrical broadband services to 1.5 million residential and business customers in major Bulgarian cities. Meanwhile, the GPON network will be extended into new locations and replace Ethernet infrastructure with PON.
