Fiber Day on the Hill is an opportunity to participate in demo stations presented by FBA members that explain what fiber is and how it improves U.S. households, communities, and the economy – including facilitating 5G, precision agriculture, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. The demos also include an opportunity to learn how to splice fiber and demonstrate the environmental and sustainable benefits of fiber and how fiber technology is able to scale and power future connectivity like quantum computing.
The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) hosted its inaugural “Fiber Day on The Hill” at the Rayburn building on Capitol Hill in March 2023.
