Policy Events

FBA’s Policy Events are designed to turn conversation into action. Through flagship programs like Fiber Day on the Hill, the Public Policy Summit, and Fiber Policy Labs, the Fiber Broadband Association brings policymakers and industry leaders into the same room to tackle the challenges of broadband expansion.

Each event offers a different lens – from direct engagement on Capitol Hill to deep-dive policy discussions and regional collaboration – but all share one goal: advancing smarter, faster, and more effective fiber policy across the United States.

Fiber Day on the Hill is FBA’s annual policy focus event that provides an informative, hands-on experience to learn more about fiber’s role in expanding broadband access, creating jobs, strengthening rural communities, and driving economic growth.

This year, join the FBA team on the Hill on July 15-16, 2026.

The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) Annual Public Policy Summit is one of the organization’s signature policy-focused events, held in Washington, D.C., bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore the future of fiber broadband and the vital role it plays in driving economic growth, strengthening communities, and advancing national priorities.

Each year, the summit provides a day-long, collaborative forum for bipartisan dialogue, insights, and action, helping shape policies that accelerate fiber broadband deployment and expand connectivity across the country.

The summit is complemented by an advocacy day on Capitol Hill, where members engage directly with policymakers to advance key priorities.

FBA’s Fiber Policy Labs is a new initiative of the Fiber Broadband Association designed to strengthen the dialogue between industry leaders and policymakers. Hosted alongside each Regional Fiber Connect event, the Lab creates a structured forum for direct, meaningful exchange on the future of fiber deployment.

By bringing together those shaping policies and those implementing them on the ground, Fiber Policy Labs ensures that real-world expertise informs decision-making. The program reflects FBA’s commitment to advancing practical, forward-looking solutions that accelerate broadband expansion, support digital opportunity, and build resilient connectivity infrastructure across the United States.
