Nokia Delivers Five-Fold Speed Boost for NetCologne’s Broadband Network
Nokia has launched its G.fast solution that extends NetCologne’s fiber-to-the-home network. NetCologne is the largest regional telecommunications provider in Germany. The provider uses G.fast to provide connection speeds that reach up to 1Gbps for customers. Nokia will also help upgrade NetCologne’s 30,000 fiber-to-the-building installations by upgrading the last drop from VDSL2 to G.fast technology. Nokia says its G.fast technology will also increase operational efficiency and lower roll out costs and configuration time.
