Committed New Hampshire Town Brings High-Speed Internet to Rural Community Following Years of Planning and Development
Last month, eX2 Technology, LLC of Omaha, Nebraska, completed a 24-mile fiber route for the town of Bristol, New Hampshire, under the Bristol Broadband Now Initiative, funded by the CARES Act. Connected to the NetworkNH system at Plymouth State University (PSU), the route services approximately 400 residences. The town selected eX to deliver a hybrid network architecture solution using Active Ethernet and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology. As a core business platform utilized to map and manage the project, VETRO Fibermap is proud to support eX2 in transforming CARES Act funding into new access to high-speed broadband to benefit the New Hampshire community.
