Fybe Completes New Fiber Connectivity Builds in South Bertie
AULANDER, N.C.–Fybe, a broadband service provider and a subsidiary of Roanoke Cooperative, confirms the completion of expanded services in South Bertie County. The project brought fiber internet to over 3,000 homes and businesses in this community.
“This marks another important milestone in our ongoing commitment to connecting underserved communities,” said Bo Coughlin, COO of Fybe. “We are excited to offer our reliable and fast internet services to even more residents and businesses. “
Each new construction includes Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology, commonly known as fiber internet. These broadband connections can reach speeds up to 1 Gbps, providing ultrafast transmission with the fiber-optic cables carrying data at about 70% the speed of light. In addition, the cables are not as susceptible to severe weather as other types of traditional cables, minimizing outages and resisting electrical interference so that customers can experience high-quality service in any conditions.
Fybe offers a variety of internet speed options to best serve the needs of their local communities. This provider is committed to positioning everyone for success through reliable connectivity in all areas of life.
