Fybe Plans for New Fiber Connectivity Builds in West Hertford County
[Hertford, N.C.]– Fybe, a broadband service provider and a subsidiary of Roanoke Cooperative, confirms its expansion of services to Hertford County, North Carolina. The expansion brings fiber internet to over 4,700 homes and businesses in this community.
Each new construction includes Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology, better known as fiber internet. With speeds up to 1 Gbps, this technology uses lightning-fast fiber-optic cables that transmit data at about 70% of the speed of light. Additional benefits of fiber internet include minimal outages and electrical interference, ensuring a stable connection, even during severe weather.
“Fybe is dedicated to providing fair and equal access to high-speed internet for all communities, especially those in rural locations,” said Bo Coughlin, COO of Fybe. “Continuously expanding our service areas is just one of the ways we aim to help our neighbors thrive.”
Fybe offers a variety of internet speed options to best serve the needs and budgets of local residents and businesses. The provider is committed to positioning the community for success when it comes to reliable connectivity for work, school, telehealth and beyond.
