Setics Is Gearing Up To Support Bead Program Grant Applications And FTTx Projects In The United States

Setics is pleased to announce that its network design automation tool, Setics Sttar, is ready to use for FTTx network design projects in the United States.

The United States’ agenda of expanding broadband connectivity has seen nearly $42.5 billion allocated to all 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories, as part of the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. Internet service providers are now focused on assessing the opportunities and building the investment case.

Setics is supporting internet service providers and cooperatives with expertise gained from planning and designing FTTH networks for the past 20 years in 25 countries with over 500 references. Setics has been instrumental in national broadband programs around the world such as the ‘Plan France Très Haut Débit’ in France and ‘Project Gigabit’ in the UK.

Setics Sttar is a network design automation tool that can create high-level designs and costings for FTTx networks, at speed and scale, according to different engineering rules and existing or new infrastructures. Setics Sttar will enable internet service providers, rural electric cooperatives, engineering firms and consultants to maximize their resources and pursue broadband grant opportunities to expand outside of their existing service network.

Founded in 2000, Setics is one of the leading independent consultancies that specializes in the design and management of high-speed broadband network projects, FTTH software editing and project monitoring for FTTx networks for territories around the world.
