Luck Grove Makes Donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York

Company executive Dustin Thall presents $2,500 check to Syracuse charity to start off 2024

SYRACUSE, NEW YORK | JANUARY 23, 2024—Luck Grove, a leading digital connectivity company in Syracuse, spearheaded an internal event to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York. Mr. Dustin Thall, the company’s Chief Technical Officer, recently presented a $2,500 check to the Syracuse organization on behalf of Luck Grove and its employees.

Thall knows firsthand the mission and impact of the Central New York Ronald McDonald House. His family were the beneficiaries of its compassionate assistance and generosity when a medical emergency struck. “In 2013, my nephew was only a few days old when he was diagnosed with a rare disease and admitted to the NICU at Crouse Hospital,” recounted Thall.

Continuing, he said, “Ronald McDonald House was a savior during an emotionally taxing time in my family’s lives. Through the support of the CNY Ronald McDonald House and its staff, my brother and his wife were able to stay there for weeks while my nephew underwent surgery and recovery. I will be forever grateful for what they did for my family.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central New York operates the CNY Ronald McDonald House 24 hours a day, year-round, at no cost for families whose children are hospitalized with serious illnesses or injuries. The fully accessible CNY Ronald McDonald House provides the convenience of a comfortable room and warm bed, home-cooked meals, and support and compassion.

Mr. Corin Zimmer, Luck Grove’s SVP of Business Development, explained why he became a member of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York Red Shoe Society. “I joined the Red Shoe Society to help provide strength and support to families and their ill children. The CNY Ronald McDonald House is a remarkable place that not only offers a home away from home for children undergoing medical treatment, but it also brings together a community of support, ensuring that no family walks alone on its journey towards healing.”

“Luck Grove operates nationally while keeping our charitable efforts locally. We’re pleased to support the critical mission and work of Ronald McDonald House Charities in bringing help and comfort to families confronting medical crises,” said Vincent Cioci, Luck Grove CEO. “We’re always grateful for the opportunity to help our community and look forward to furthering our impact in Syracuse during 2024,” he concluded.
