Fybe Serves Food Bank of the Albemarle on Volunteer Day

[Elizabeth City, N.C.]  – Fybe, a broadband service provider and a subsidiary of Roanoke Cooperative, proudly served the residents of Pasquotank County during its most recent We Care Day on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

During this outreach event, a team of staff volunteers packed over 1,100 boxes of groceries for the Food Bank of the Albemarle. In addition to the physical support, Fybe also donated $2,000 to the organization.

“We think it’s essential to be part of the neighborhoods we serve,” said Bo Coughlin, COO. “Our We Care Days are just one way for us to get involved and really connect with our service areas.”

The Food Bank of the Albemarle provides food and resources through a network of over 100 hunger relief partners and 155 unique programs. Each year, the food bank provides more than 7 million meals through this network.

“We sincerely appreciate Fybe’s efforts to help feed our neighbors,” said Liz Reasoner, Executive Director of the Food Bank of the Albemarle. “This generous donation will help provide over 1,200 meals across northeastern NC for our families, seniors, children and veterans.”
