North Buffalo Residents Can Now Order Greenlight Networks’ High-Speed Internet
BUFFALO. N.Y. (June 12, 2024) – This fall, North Buffalo residents will gain access to Greenlight Networks (“Greenlight”), the leading fiber-to-the-home provider in New York State. Initial construction work is currently underway in North Buffalo, with more than 2,600 homes expected to have service for the first time by September.
“High-speed internet is a critical infrastructure that will be able to attract new residents and businesses, support innovation, and enhance the overall economic picture in North Buffalo,” said Greenlight Networks CEO Mark Murphy. “The network and infrastructure buildout in this community is a critical piece of our overall expansion plans for this year. Greenlight Networks currently services East and West Buffalo, as well as Cheektowaga, North Tonawanda and the Village of Lancaster. The company is on track to have more than 30,000 homes in Erie County connected to its high-speed fiber network by the end of 2024, and currently connects more than 175,000 homes across New York State.

Once construction is completed, residents who pre-ordered services will be notified to schedule in home installation by a Greenlight Networks’ fiber technician.
