NKTelco Announces Flight Fiber Expansion in Arcanum, OH

Residents and Businesses Get New FTTP Service

New Knoxville, Ohio, November 12, 2024:  NKTelco is expanding its multi-gigabit fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP) network in Darke County, OH.  Flight Fiber will now be available to both residents and businesses in Arcanum, part of the West Central OH footprint served by NKTelco.

As a leading all-fiber broadband provider, NKTelco’s Flight Fiber will deliver more speed and reliability to power all smart-home devices, streaming, education, work from home and entertainment needs.  Upon completion, Flight Fiber will reach 1,450 residents and businesses and will also support video and phone service needs.

Flight Fiber is part of a $2M capital investment NKTelco is making in the community.  This all-fiber broadband network is cutting-edge technology to ensure that the community stays competitive.

“Our expansion plans are complete, and we are looking forward to bringing Flight Fiber to Arcanum.  Construction will begin in the 4th quarter 2024 and we anticipate customers will be connected to our fiber service in 2025”, said Preston Meyer, President and General Manager of NKTelco.  “Arcanum is a vibrant community, and we believe Flight Fiber will provide benefits to everyone in the area.”
