Greenlight Networks Teams Up with the City of Binghamton to Support This Year’s Holiday Tree Lighting
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (Nov. 24, 2025) – Connecting communities and holiday cheer, Greenlight Networks (“Greenlight”), a leading fiber-to-the-home internet provider in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, is proud to team up with the City of Binghamton to serve as the title sponsor of city’s annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. The event will take place on “Small Business Saturday,” November 29 at 5 p.m.at the Washington Street Mall in downtown Binghamton featuring live music, holiday activities, free hot chocolate, and local shopping opportunities.

The event starts with hot chocolate and carolers at 5 p.m., followed by remarks from Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham and Greenlight Networks’ General Manager Dan English. The city will then officially light the 25-foot tree which was selected from Endwell’s Sunny Hill Tree Farm to mark the beginning of the holiday season. Visitors will be encouraged to do their holiday shopping at the downtown businesses throughout the event.
“The tree lighting ceremony is one of our most beloved holiday traditions for families here in Binghamton and it is our way of highlighting the city’s vibrant downtown and local businesses,” said Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham. “We appreciate Greenlight Networks for supporting this year’s celebration and helping us create a festive kickoff to the holiday season. Moments like this bring our community together and highlight the small businesses here in downtown that make Binghamton such a great destination during the holiday season.”
