CBS Viewership increased over 29% Rural America

Mitchell SD – The Fall quarter of 2025 experienced a rise in viewership of leading cable channels in rural America including a 29.94% increase for front-runner CBS. From September to November 2025, nearly all of the top 100 cable television channels saw an increase in viewership. With the collaboration of Innovative Systems MG-TV video operators across the U.S., thousands of households are being counted in this ongoing research project. The data collected in this study is anonymous viewership information based on Set-Top-Box, and consumer devices using the provider’s live streaming service. The top 2
channels showed significant increases in viewership during this three-month reporting period compared to the period from June to August 2025.

• CBS – 72.94 – September-November, up from 56.13 compared to June-August 2025.
• NBC – 54.27 – September-November, up from 43.87 compared to June-August 2025.

Other Highlights of the Fall 2025 Channel Stats Report:

• Hallmark’s holiday programming has propelled the network into the top 10 rankings.
• TV Land has jumped from 15th place to 6th place.
• CW experienced a significant loss, dropping from 14th place to 30th.
