Nex-Tech Welcomes New Leadership: Justin McClung and Allan Reiter Step Into Executive Roles

Lenora, KS – January 13, 2026 – Nex-Tech is turning the page to an exciting new chapter in its leadership story. Two familiar faces, whose careers have been deeply intertwined with the company’s growth and innovation, are stepping into pivotal roles: Justin McClung as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Allan Reiter as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). These changes in leadership took effect on December 1, 2025, following the retirement of former COO, Mike Pollock.

For Justin, the journey began more than three decades ago. Joining Nex-Tech in 1994, he quickly became a cornerstone of the company’s operational success. In his early days, he was an Engineering Tech and worked as a Directory Media Specialist, then quickly moved into a leadership role as Internet/Network Solutions Manager. He held that title for 18 years before shifting his focus to Product Development Manager, then to Director of Development, Innovation & Administration. For the last 6 years, he has served as Director of Operational Support Services. Justin has consistently demonstrated a knack for building strong teams and delivering results. His leadership has shaped customer support and streamlined processes. Now, as COO, Justin McClung is ready to strengthen Nex-Tech’s operations with clear direction and practical leadership.

Justin is a leader in the industry when it comes to innovation and AI. He can often be found tinkering with a new app or tool for fun and is constantly learning and seeking out the newest tech trends. He has authored whitepapers and given keynote speeches on AI. Justin currently serves on the AI Innovation Council for USTelecom and is co-chair of the AI/ML working group for Fiber Broadband Association. He is also a member of the Business Performance & Operations Advisory Board for Calix.

When asked what he enjoys most about working with the Nex-Tech team, Justin had this to say: “Nex-Tech has always been fortunate to attract and retain some of the best employees in the industry,” Justin reflects. “We have a strong mix of technical and customer-service skills, along with a culture that truly cares about our employees and, most importantly, our customers.”

As COO, Justin will lead operationally focused teams, overseeing Nex-Tech’s operations and project teams, including Field Services, Construction & Engineering, Vehicle & Facility Management, Help Desk, Dispatch, and Service & Provisioning.

Allan’s story is equally compelling. Driven by a passion for technology, Allan joined Nex-Tech in 2006 after moving back to Kansas. With more than 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Allan provides a wealth of knowledge. Over the years, he has been at the forefront of the company’s technical evolution, starting as an Internet Administrator and rising through roles that shaped Nex-Tech’s technical blueprint. Allan worked as a Network Engineer for eight years before his role as Network Operations Supervisor, and for the last 5 years, Allan has served the company as Director of Technology. As Chief Technology Officer, Allan will lead Nex-Tech’s digital transformation and strategic technology initiatives, ensuring the company remains ahead of the curve.

His expertise in cybersecurity and technology has positioned Nex-Tech as a leader in the industry. Allan also serves on various industry boards and committees. He is a member of WTA CyberTech, IT Nation Evolve, and Fiber Broadband Association’s Technology Committee, as well as USTelecom’s Cybersecurity and Supply Chain committee.

When asked what brought Allan to Nex-Tech and made him want to build his career here, Allan said: “I have always been amazed by technology. Over twenty years ago, after moving back to Kansas, I recognized Nex-Tech as the premier technology company and knew that it was a company I wanted to work for.”

Technically focused teams will shift to the CTO, including the Technology Services Group, NOC, Network Operations, Systems Development, Business Analysts/Technical Training, AI, Product Development, Project Management, and Cybersecurity.

Together, Justin and Allan represent the perfect blend of experience, vision, and dedication. Their leadership will guide Nex-Tech into a future defined by operational excellence and technological innovation.
