City of Dublin joins Fiber Broadband Association
City of Dublin, Ohio, USA becomes a Fiber Broadband Association member to help advance access to reliable broadband and digital equity
[DUBLIN, Ohio] — Today, the City of Dublin, Ohio, USA announced it has joined the Fiber Broadband Association, an organization that is dedicated to accelerating the deployment of fiber broadband networks to ensure digital equity and enable every community to leverage the economic and societal benefits that only fiber can deliver.
“The Fiber Broadband Association welcomes the City of Dublin to its membership. Our association thrives on the knowledge, passion, and collaboration of our members, and we know that the City of Dublin will be an asset to our organization,” said Gary Bolton, President and CEO at the Fiber Broadband Association. “Together, we will work to provide advocacy, education, and resources for the advancement of fiber broadband technology so that we can connect everyone to reliable, high-quality internet.”
As a member of the Fiber Broadband Association, the City of Dublin plans to actively engage in the association’s committees, working groups and industry events, including the annual Fiber Connect and Regional Fiber Connect conferences. Chief Innovation & Technology Officer Brandon Brown recently served as a panelist at a Regional Fiber Connect conference, reflecting Dublin’s commitment to sharing a local government perspective in national broadband conversations.
