Fybe Announces Free Internet Speed Upgrade and New 5 Gig Residential Plan

[Edenton, N.C.] – Fybe (“the company”), a broadband internet service provider serving Northeastern North Carolina, has announced a no-cost speed increase for customers on its entry-level residential internet plan, along with a new 5 Gig internet tier launching in the coming weeks.

Beginning Sept. 1, Fybe customers currently subscribed to the company’s 100 Mbps internet plan will automatically be upgraded to 500 Mbps at no additional cost. The upgrade will be seamless and require no action from customers.

Fybe is also expanding its residential internet options with the introduction of a new 5 Gig plan. The company’s fastest residential tier to date, the new offering is designed for households with demanding connectivity needs, including multiple connected devices, high-quality streaming, online gaming, remote work, and other bandwidth-intensive activities.

The 5 Gig plan will be available in all areas serviced by Fybe fiber internet in the coming weeks.
