Working on or near the roadway every day, you become normalized to the risks involved. We’ll review a real-life risk normalization scenario by watching an incident video. We discuss how we use our employee communication app to deliver compliance-based microlearnings to a dispersed workforce, publishing lessons designed to improve employee safety behaviors. The microlearning safety training program achieved a 91% conversion rate upon a voluntary rollout.
Our presentation will pull back the curtain to examine how we have advanced our safety training with microlearning over past year and a half. We show how this innovative type of learning promotes a culture of safety. We share best practices on evolving a voluntary program of targeted learning modules to include mandatory lessons, promotional prerequisites, training on infrequent tasks, and an overhaul of our driver certification.
