Most Watched Cable Channels for the winter Quarter of 2025-26

Mitchell SD – The Winter quarter of 2025-26 saw some new entrants into the top 25 tabulation of viewership of leading cable channels in rural America. With the collaboration of Innovative Systems MGTV video operators across the U.S., thousands of households are being counted in this ongoing research
project. The data collected in this study is anonymous viewership information from Set-Top-Boxes and consumer devices using the provider’s live streaming service. Two channels showed significant increases in viewership during this three-month reporting period include:

• Country-themed Outlaw TV debuts at 26th place.
• Adventure Channel Heroes & Icons rose 18 spots to enter the top 50.
Other Highlights of the Winter 2025/26 Channel Stats Report:
• USA jumped into the top 15 on the back of the Olympics from 22nd.
• The CW had a strong winter, moving up from 30th to 16th last quarter.
•CBS was the most viewed channel, leading with a 51.63 share, followed by NBC at 37.43.
