FBA Official Statement Regarding New Jersey’s BEAD Funding Approval – 8/29/24

“The Fiber Broadband Association is excited to congratulate New Jersey on receiving approval for the Initial Proposal for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. The addition of the “Garden State” brings the current tally to 40 out of 56 entities. We would also like to congratulate the NTIA for its diligence in awarding U.S. states and territories the necessary funds to close the digital divide and truly deliver ‘Internet for All.’ New Jersey’s approval means that we are that much closer to moving forward with plans to deploy high-speed networks, a necessity in the 21 century.”
