FBA Files Comments on New Mexico Affordability & Deployment

September 21, 2026 – Today, the Fiber Broadband Association (“FBA”) filed reply comments in the New Mexico Public Regulations Commission’s proceeding regarding SB 152, passed last year. In its comments, FBA supported the state’s new deployment program and urged the commission to adopt an approach that would prioritize the deployment of fiber connections across the state to ensure New Mexicans can access high-quality connections today and for decades to come. FBA also supported the state’s revised LITAP program and urged the commission to make the increased rates available for all eligible consumers of broadband services.
