FBA Official Statement Regarding Arkansas BEAD Funding Approval – 9/30/24

“The Fiber Broadband Association would like to congratulate Arkansas on receiving the approval for its Initial Proposal for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. This means “The Natural State” can move forward in its plans to bring affordable, reliable, and high-speed internet service to its communities. As of September 30, we are now at 49 out of 56 approvals, meaning that we are that much closer to bridging the digital divide. We would also like to congratulate the NTIA for its continued swiftness in approving these proposals, furthering the ‘Internet for All’ initiative.”
