FBA Official Statement Regarding Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, and South Carolina BEAD Funding Approvals – 9/26/24

“Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, and South Carolina are the latest states to receive approvals for their Initial Proposals for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program, bringing the tally up to 48 approvals. The Fiber Broadband Association congratulates these four newly approved states for being able to officially request access to funding and begin utilizing BEAD funds. We would also like to congratulate the NTIA for its continued swiftness in approving these proposals, furthering the ‘Internet for All’ initiative.”
