FBA Official Statement Regarding Guam’s BEAD Funding Approvals – 8/27/24

“The Fiber Broadband Association is excited to congratulate Guam on receiving approval for the Initial Proposal for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. The addition of this territory brings the current tally to 36 out of 56 eligible entities. We would also like to congratulate the NTIA for its diligence in awarding U.S. states and territories the necessary funds to close the digital divide and truly deliver ‘Internet for All.’ This continued momentum means these states are that much closer to moving forward with their plans to deploy high-speed networks, improving the quality of life for its communities.”
