FBA Official Statement Regarding Wyoming’s BEAD Funding Approvals – 8/13/24

“Congratulations to Wyoming on becoming the latest state to receive approval for the Initial Proposal for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. The addition of “The Cowboy State” brings the tally up to 35 approvals. The Fiber Broadband Association would like to congratulate the NTIA for its diligence in awarding U.S. states and territories the funding needed to close the digital divide and truly deliver ‘Internet for All.’ As more regions receive approvals, we are that much closer to ensuring each American has access to fiber broadband and the opportunities that are presented with a reliable connection.”
