The Federal Permitting Council brings agencies across government together to coordinate environmental reviews and permitting activities in order to make the permitting process more collaborative, better coordinated, and ultimately more accountable. Charged with serving as a federal Center for Permitting Excellence, the Permitting Council is the go-to resource for permitting efficiency best practices and guidance, as federal agencies work to realize the once-in-a-generation infrastructure goals of the Biden-Harris administration. The Permitting Council currently manages a portfolio of nearly $100 billion in large-scale infrastructure projects, most of which are in the renewable energy, coastal restoration, and electricity transmission sectors. Join newly appointed Permitting Council Executive Director Eric Beightel to learn more about the agency and how it can help ensure a transparent and efficient permitting process for your broadband infrastructure project.
