Richard Williams

Rich is the founder and president of Connect2 Communications, Inc. Since founding Connect2 in 2003, he has helped companies in telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, data center, and other B2B technology markets develop and implement creative public relations and marketing strategies that enable each to achieve corporate, business and sales objectives. Before starting Connect2, Rich served as director of marketing and business development for Hatteras Networks, directing their brand and go-to-market strategy for their last-mile Ethernet platform encompassing direction of all PR and marketing communications activities. Prior to this, Rich was director of corporate communications at Sycamore Networks, leading Sycamore’s communications efforts from Initial Public Offering through the development of an integrated global public relations program, including secondary offering, acquisition, investments, regional launches and impact-of-market contraction. Rich began his career at the American Plastics Council, an industry group focused on environmental issues in Washington DC.
