Panorama FTTH LATAM 2024 – Summary

The Fiber Broadband Association – LATAM Chapter has published its annual market research. This study focuses on the fiber optic market in Latin America, examining its deployment, challenges, impacts, trends, and future projections. This year’s FTTH Panorama for Latin America report highlights significant growth in fiber optic deployment across the region. By the end of 2023, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) reached 67 million FTTH subscribers, representing 37% of households, with coverage expanding to 67% of homes. We project continued growth, estimating 101 million subscribers and 83% coverage by 2028.
