EXFO Closes Acquisition of InOpticals Inc.
EXFO Inc. has acquired InOpticals Inc., a manufacturer of ultra-high-speed test instruments for the laboratory and manufacturing markets. InOpticals is based in Taiwan and provides sampling oscilloscopes, bit-error rate testers and other critical test instruments to optical component and network equipment companies. InOpticals’ products are used for the 400G and 800G sectors like silicon photonics-based transceivers and active and passive components. InOpticals’ products will be merged into EXFO’s test and measurement line of products. The price of the deal was not revealed.
