Fybe Employees Give Back to Halifax County During Volunteer Day

Edenton, N.C. – Fybe, a broadband service provider and a subsidiary of Roanoke Cooperative, proudly partnered with the City of Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation Department during its quarterly “We Care Day” on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The initiative is part of Fybe’s ongoing commitment to community investment and service.

Fybe employees participated in several beautification projects throughout the city, including revitalizing the flower beds surrounding the Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall and painting and staining the gazebo at Centennial Park. These enhancements contribute to the city’s ongoing efforts to maintain welcoming, vibrant public spaces for all residents and visitors.

“At the heart of any thriving community is a spirit of service, and our team is proud to embrace that through volunteer work here in Halifax County,” said Bo Coughlin, Chief Operating Officer at Fybe. “We believe in strengthening the communities where we live and work, and days like this remind us of the real difference we can make when we come together with purpose.”

The Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors by providing a comprehensive array of recreational programs, facilities and events. Their mission is to serve the community through well-rounded activities for all ages and by maintaining safe and clean facilities.

“Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Fybe for their recent contributions to the beautification of Centennial Park and the Lloyd Andrews Building. Fybe generously volunteered their time and resources to pressure wash and paint the gazebo at Centennial Park, as well as mulching the landscape beds at the Lloyd Andrews Building,” said Kelly Daughtry, Parks and Recreation Director. “We are grateful for Fybe’s commitment to community service and the positive

impact that local partnerships can have on our shared spaces. Thank you, Fybe, for your dedication and service to our city!”

Fybe has committed to hosting We Care Days at least once a quarter in the communities it serves. For more information, visit www.gofybe.com.
